Publication Ethics, Language of Publication, and Privacy Statement

Journal of Advanced Human Thought Studies (JAHTS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and ensuring the quality, integrity, and transparency of all published articles. This statement is based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

1. Duties of Editors

Fair Play:
Editors evaluate submitted manuscripts exclusively on the basis of their academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope, without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, or religious belief.

Confidentiality:
Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, or other editorial advisers as appropriate.

2. Duties of Authors

Reporting Standards:
Authors of original research must present an accurate and objective account of the work performed, as well as an objective discussion of its significance.

Originality and Plagiarism:
Authors must ensure that their submissions are entirely original. Any use of the work or words of others must be appropriately cited or quoted. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

3. Language of Publication

All submissions, regardless of the language of the main text, must include an English title, abstract, and keywords. Manuscripts submitted in English or Arabic are subject to the same editorial and double-blind peer review process in accordance with international academic and ethical standards.

4. Duties of Reviewers

Contribution to Editorial Decisions:
Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and helps authors improve their manuscripts through constructive and objective feedback.

Promptness:
Any invited reviewer who feels unqualified to review the assigned manuscript or knows that timely review will be impossible should immediately notify the editor and decline the review invitation.
